Ground Colemanite -75 Micron

Ground Colemanite is a naturally occurring calcium borate mineral (2CaO · 3B₂O₃ · 5H₂O) mined from Türkiye’s world-class boron deposits and processed to a fine −75 micron powder at Eti Maden’s Bigadiç facility. With a guaranteed B₂O₃ content of 40% and controlled CaO levels, it delivers consistent chemical performance batch after batch. Its ultra-fine particle size, low sodium content, and tightly controlled impurity limits — including Fe₂O₃, Al₂O₃, and SO₄ — make it one of the most technically precise natural boron raw materials available on the global market.

Applications & Benefits

Ground Colemanite −75 Micron is the preferred boron source in the fiberglass industry, particularly for textile-grade and reinforcement fibreglass where sodium-free raw materials are essential. It lowers the melting temperature of glass batches, reduces melt viscosity, prevents crystallisation, and enhances the thermal and chemical resistance of the final product. In ceramics and enamel glazes, it acts as a low-temperature flux that promotes homogeneous melting and a stable, crack-free surface finish. Metallurgical applications rely on it as a flux and slag compactor in ladle furnace operations, helping to consolidate powdered slag and reduce handling costs. Its fine grind ensures rapid integration into production batches across all these sectors, making it a highly versatile and efficient industrial mineral.
